UKCCh Shalyn’s Sweet Virginia Breeze “Breeze” owned, bred and handled  by Sherri Lilley-Peck showed at her first AKC shows in Richmond taking reserve winners bitch both days at 9 months. 

Shalyn’s Oil Baron “Baron” owned, bred and handled by Sherri Lilley-Peck and Grant Arsenault earned his first four points taking Winners Dog and Best of Winners from the bred by class at his very first shows in Richmond!

CH Darkwater All That Glitters RA *MX* AXJ OF SH WCX CGC “Neon” owned by Penny Woodward earned his MX title at DOTC agility trial in Lexington, VA on Jan 14th as well as picking up 2 MXJ legs and a Double Q that weekend.  On the same weekend, Shasta Red Medicine Woman AX AXJ *AJP* JH WC CGC DJ “Shaman” owned by William & Penny Woodward earned her AJP title on Saturday and picked up 2 MXP legs, an MJP leg on Sunday and a Double Q.  

At the Catoctin KC obedience trial, “Solar” Ch Blazin’s Lightning Bug CDX BN RE AX AXJ, shown by Marty, picked up her 3rd Open obedience leg and the CDX title!!  Solar is owned and loved by Dawn Buttion, Marty Archambeault & Colin Archambeault.

At the Rock Creek KC show, “Piston” GCH Blazin’s Off Road Drive”N,  won Select Dog for a 3 point major and his grand championship title!!  This was Piston’s 3rd weekend out as a special.   Piston is owned and loved  by Dawn Buttion and Marty, Bryce and Colin Archambeault.

GCHB CH Shalyn’s Ribbons and Blues BN CD RE NA NJP CGC “Blue” owned and bred by Sherri Lilley-Peck took select dog at the Philadelphia Kennel Club Dog Show earning a 5 pt major with an entry of 11 other champions!

Flatgold’s Divertimento in D JH WCX “Trudi” owned and loved by Janet & Cary Ciarico, and handled by Janet, finished the season by earning her first Senior Hunter pass at the Susquehanna Retriever Club fall hunt test in Greenwood, DE. 

 “Piston”, CH Blazin’s Off Road Drive’N, sure gave me a CRFCRC Supported Entry Cluster to remember!!  At the supported entry, Piston won Best Puppy in Sweepstakes, Best of Breed, Best of Breed Owner Handled and a Group 4!  As if that wasn’t enough, in total Piston won 3 BOB/BOBOHs, 2 Group 4s, 1 Select, a Group 2 OH and earned 22 Grand Championship points!!  Somebody pinch me please!  Piston is loved and owned by Dawn Buttion, Marty, Bryce and Colin Archambeault!

Shasta Red Medicine Woman AX AXJ **OJP** JH WC CGC DJ “Shaman” owned by William ; Penny Woodward went 4 for 4 at the RACE agility trial Oct 14-15 double Q’ing each day and earning her OJP title and picking up 2 MXP legs with placements each day.  This girl is on fire!

 “Rock it” has been doing some fabulous work these last few weeks. In July, he learned how to do Air Retrieve at a NADD workshop since then he has had 5 Senior level Air Retrieve grabs and has earned his AS (Air Retrieve Senior title). He now has a personal best distance grab of 16 feet. He also earned his Dock Senior title and now has a personal best Splash distance of 17′ 11″.

On October 15 in West Friendship, MD on the weekend of the Supported Entry, Rock-it won first place and his second leg in Graduate Novice obedience at the National Capital Kennel Club trial with a score of 191 1/2.

Rock-it is owned by Brenda Boesel and they live in Hampton, VA. Team Big Black Dawg Brigade is looking forward to competing in more activities in 2017 and beyond.
