Athercroft Kama Siouxtra “Twist” owned by Ruth Marsh, Dee Turkelson, Donna Slavin, Chris Abbott, made a big debut into the ring!  Twist showed in the 4-6 month puppy classes and pulled out 3 group placements!  2 group 3’s and a group 1!!  Twist then went on to win Best Beginner Puppy in Show on Sunday!  Breeder/owner handled-it was a sweet win!

At the CRFCRC supported entry held at the Catonsville KC show, “Immy”, GCh Blazin’s Magic Marker RN CGC, won Select Bitch and finished her Grand Championship in style with another 5 point major!!  Immy is handled by Marty and owned and loved by Dawn Buttion, Marty and Bryce Archambeault!!

Field dogs can do obedience and rally too!  CH Darkwater All That Glitters RA AX AXJ NF SH WCX CGC “Neon” owned by Penny Woodward had a good day at DOTC in Lynchburg Sunday earning his first obedience leg in Beginner Novice B and then completing his Rally Advanced title.

Flatgold’s Divertimento in D JH WCX “Trudi” and Janet ran their first Spaniel Upland test at the Susquehanna Valley English Springer Spaniel Club test on September 15, picking up a pass at the Senior level!  It was a great time and we look forward to running again soon!

Fleetwing’s Midnight Moonlight BN CD JH RE DJ DS WC CGC “Rock it” owned by Brenda L Boesel earned his Dock Senior title at the Inaugural King George, VA NADD Dock Diving Event with a personal best Splash of 16′ 9″. He also earned 2 more Q’s towards his Air Retrieve Senior title with two grabs at 14′. 2017 has really been a fantastic year for me and Team Big Black Dawg Brigade!

 “Maze” owned by Brenda Boesel earned (my very first) his Rally Excellent Advanced title at the Tidelands Poodle Club Rally Trial in Hampton, VA. On Friday night, Maze won the Rally High Combined award with a Q in Excellent B and a 1st place finish in Advanced B. On Saturday, he earned his RAE title with a Q in Excellent B and 4th place in Advanced B.

On Sunday, Aug 27, he earned another Q towards his Dock Senior Advanced title at the King George Diving Dog event in Virginia with a Splash of 15’6″.

Fleetwing’s Midnight Moonlight BN CD JH RE DJ DS WC CGC “Rock it” owned by Brenda L Boesel earned his Rally Excellent title at the Tidelands Poodle Club Rally /ObedienceTrial in Hampton, VA. He did this in fine fashion winning the Excellent B class with a perfect score of 100 and the fastest time on the course. In the obedience ring, he earned a bonus CD leg and 2nd place as a warm up to his 1st place finish in his debut in the Graduate Novice class.

Both Blazin’s Keep The Faith CDX BN RE TKN CGC “Kip” and Eagletarn Mistral Wind RN TKN CGC “Thrill” owned by Marla Stoner passed the Novice Tricks test at Breakaway Action Dogs on July 25, 2017.  They had fun.

Ch Victory On The Wing CGC “Flyer” owned by Neal & Helenmary Cody and Judy Gladson finished his championship at Howard County under judge Marilyn Pipes. It was his third major and quite a thrill to finish from the 12-18 month class.

At the Blue Crab Clust on July 1st, CH Darkwater All That Glitters RN AX AXJ SH WCX CGC “Neon” owned by Penny Woodward earned his first Rally Adv B leg with a score of 98 and a 2nd place.  It was a good feeling to be able to place amongst dogs that were competing for their RAE, especially when I entered him just because I was going to be there for NADD.  Sometimes taking chances does work out for the best!
