GCh Shasta Heaven Sent to Westwind SH RN WC CGC “Treasure” owned by William & Monica Stephens

Treasure is recognized as a AKC Grand Champion. Treasure and Greg Wessel (Treasure’s handler) took Best of Opposites from the Best of Breed class  under Judge Gordon William Hayburn at the Maryland Sporting Dog Association Dog Show today (3/4/18).  That gave him enough points to get his AKC Grand Champion (GCH) title.   Congratulations to Treasure and Greg.

GCH Shalyn’s Belle Bottom Blues CD RE OA OAJ JH CGC VFCR1 “Belle” owned and bred by Sherri Lilley-Peck and handled by Alex Bialozor won Best of Breed at the MD Sporting Dog Show at our supported entry! Belle also won the Select Bitch award the previous day. 10 points in a weekend towards her Bronze GCH!

Shalyn’s Oil Baron “Baron” owned, bred and handled by Sherri Lilley-Peck earned his first major at 10 months old taking Winners Dog at our supported entry in MD. He was Reserve WD the day before. Baron also won Best Opposite Puppy both days of the supported to his sister Breeze! He now has 7 points and a major in just two weekends of showing!

GCHB CH Shalyn’s Ribbons and Blues BN CD RE NA NJP CGC “Blue” owned, bred and handled by Sherri Lilley-Peck made a final cut in our supported BOB class. Blue was shown for a first time as a Veteran and won Best Opposite Veteran in sweepstakes to his sister Belle on the Sunday.

GCH Shalyn’s Belle Bottom Blues CD RE OA OAJ JH CGC VFCR1 “Belle” owned, bred and handled by Sherri Lilley-Peck won Best Veteran in Sweeps on the Sunday of our supported in MD and Best Opposite Veteran in sweeps on Sat of our supported! 

UKC CH Shalyn’s Sweet Virginia Breeze “Breeze” owned, bred and handled by Sherri Lilley-Peck and Dawn Buttion won Best Puppy in Sweeps both days of our supported entry in MD. She also took Reserve WB on the Sat to a a major! Nice start for my 10 mon old puppy and her second weekend out!

At the Star City Canine Training Club Agility trial in Lexington, VA, CH Darkwater All That Glitters RA MX *MXJ* OF SH WCX CGC “Neon” owned by Penny Woodward earned his MXJ title and a double Q on Sunday which gives him enough points to qualify for the FCRSA Hall of Fame.  I am so very proud of this dog.  Neon is bred by, owned, trained and handled by Penny.

On the same weekend Shasta Red Medicine Woman AX AXJ AJP JH WC CGC DJ “Shaman” owned by William and Penny Woodward picked up two MXP legs, an MJP leg and a double Q.  She is my rock steady dog on the courses and is catching up to big brother quickly. 

GCH Shalyn’s Belle Bottom Blues CD RE OA OAJ JH CGC VFCR1 “Belle” owned and bred by Sherri Lilley-Peck and handled by Kevin Bednar took BOB in Richmond for another 5 points towards her GCHB title. 

Athercroft Kama Siouxtra “Twist” owned by Ruth Marsh, Dee Turkelson, Donna Slavin, Chris Abbott, was Winners Bitch from the 6-9 puppy class!  Twist earned 2 points for her outing!
