At the Middleburg KC show, “Chilly” Ch Blazin’s Ice Mountain CGC won her 1st Best Of Breed earning her a pass to the Group.  This was Chilly’s 1st All-Breed show this year and she made me proud!  Chilly is owned by Dawn Buttion & Marty Archambeault.

On Saturday at the Middleburg KC in Leesburg, Dancer picked up her 3rd leg in Rally.  She is now CH Quillquest’s Leading Lady JH OA NAJ *RN* WC CGC.  The rain held off just long enough to get the job done and we had a great time.

  • A Weekend To Remember

    October 12, 2009 / Dawn Buttion & Marty Archambeault & Colin & Bryce

This weekend at the Harvest Cluster shows in West Friendship, Maryland, I had a weekend to remember.  It started on Friday and although there were no wins at the show, seeing Cliff and Jurel (Blazin Jurel Of Tidalflats) for the 1st time since was simply wonderful.  Next was Saturday where the brown dog Finley (Ch Four Corners Bow And Arrow) made me proud finishing his Championship with his 4th major.  Not to be undone by Finley, his housemate Sofie (Ch Blazin’s Impossible Choice) finished her Championship on Sunday.  With both Finley and Sofie moved up to Best of Breed, I was able to concentrate on Joule (Blazin’s Joule To Infinity) and she won her 1st major!  Not a weekend that I will forget anytime soon!  Thanks to Judy Terchek and Kristine Wolfe for allowing me to show their dogs and thank you Cliff for coming out to play!  It was so good to see you!

  • More flyball titles for the Boss dogs

    October 11, 2009 / Greg & Janet Boss

Marcie continues to burn up the flyball lanes, earning her 5th title (FDCH-Gold) and moving up the ranks for points for FCRs in NAFA to #33.  I fully expect her to be #1 at some point, but that’s a LOT of points away!

Brother Rudy earned his FDCh and came 22 points shy of his FDCh-Silver.  He doesn’t mind being overshadowed by the little black bullet.

    September 5, 2009 /

Janice finally found time to squeeze in an Obedience weekend into her hectic Agility schedule.  Sparks managed to do two sit stays in a row and finished his CDX title with a 4th place win and we won’t talk about the outdoor show where he was upside down rolling in the cool grass during the stays.

Story and Gent did very nice work at their first test in 2009 to finish their SH titles. Friends were there and that just makes it more fun!!
