It may not have been all that far away but it was definitely memorable. On October 24, 2025, I competed at the 1st & 2nd Ever FCRSA Independent Specialties in Doswell, VA. I traveled with Cabbie (CH MACH2 BLAZIN’S QUESTIONABLE DRIVE’R CD BN RA MXS MJC MFB T2B4 FCAT ACT2 ACT2J DS DSA TKN CGC), Azula (GCHB MACH Grousemoor Blue Flame A Blazin BN RA MX MXB MXJ MJB MXF T2B2 ACT1 ACT1J FCAT TKN CGC), Norma (Blazin’s Sunset Boulevard STR) and Quigley (GCHB Blazin’s Quigley Down Under CD BN RI OA OAJ NF DCAT ACT1 SCN SIA SEA CGC TKN DN) and Pam!! I am happy to report that Azula won Best of Breed at the 1st show and Quigley, shown by Michaela, won Select Dog. We would go on to show 3 more times where Azula made the cut each show and picked up a BOBOH/Owner Handled Group 4. Quigley pick up another Select dog and finished off the weekend with a Supported Entry Best of Breed. Both Norma and Cabbie placed in all of their sweepstakes and regular classes at all four shows. So glad that the CRFCRC could make this happen!! Azula, Cabbie and Norma are owned by Blazin and Quigley is owned by Pam, Jerry & Blazin.

On October 19, 2025, at Marty’s favorite venue, Benji, MACH Blazin’s Push The Button RN MXB MJB OF T2B FCAT ACT2 ACT2J, finished his Master Agility Championship!! This is both Benji & Marty’s first MACH! Benji is owned and loved by Dawn, Marty, Colin & Bryce.

Victory’s Staff Sergeant “Sarge” earned her Senior Hunter title at the Keystone AKC Retriever Hunt Test held at Mt. Ararat Farm in Port Deposit, MD. The test made full use of the excellent grounds and offered a true challenge for the dogs. Sarge marked cleanly and handled her blinds well, demonstrating the teamwork and consistency that have been the focus of her training. Thanks are due to the training partners who provided support along the way, the judges for designing a fair and thoughtful test, the workers for their efforts in the field, and the Keystone Retriever Club for hosting a smooth and well-run event.

On August 10, 2024, with the help of my good friend Denise Visco and Marty, Azula, GCHB CH MACH Grousemoor Blue Flame A Blazin BN RA MXB MJB MXF T2B FCAT ACT1 ACT1J CGC, finished her Master Agility Championship!! I put my trust in my friends and Marty and they have come through for me again!!! Thank you Azula for being willing to play agility with other people! Azula is owned and loved by Dawn, Marty, Colin & Helen.
