9/4 At the Raleigh KC show, Sam went WB/BOS under Judge Mr. George Heitzman. Sam is owner handled by Vanessa Rhodes. 

Eiderdown Sam I Am CGC, “Sam”, had a wonderful weekend!   Sam took WB, BOW, and BOS under Judge Ms. Marjorie Martorella on Saturday and WB, BOW, and BOS under Judge Mr. William Dwelly on Sunday.   Sam is owned and handled by Vanessa Rhodes.

At the Meinheart Property in Cheltenham, MD

• Ch Blazin Dunlin Of Tidalflats WC CGC “Lin” and Ch Hillbrook Dory Of Tidalflats CD JH WC CGC “Dory”   passed both Started tests, ending the day with 1/2 the qualifications for the title.  Both girls were handled by their favorite duck buddy (Cliff) and had a grand time.  Not to be outdone, (4.5 month old) baby sister Selkie also brought all 3 of her birds back to qualify in the “Beginners” stake.  She received a nice certificate and much applause from the gallery.
• Lightfoot’s Eclipse CD JH FCX WCX CGC, “Tanner” is now the proud bearer of
  the NAHRA SR title, having gone four for four in started tests.  He and his buddy Brook, (Bertshire’s Avalanche, WC,CGC) went two for two in the two tests run today by the Southern Maryland Hunting Retriever Club (SMHRC) at the Meinheart Property in Cheltenham, MD.  Both dogs got “nice job”s on all four series run.

  Tanner and Brook are owned by John and Sandy Bulger and handled in field by the Bionic man, John!

• CH Allegro’s Free Man in Paris WC, “Beau,” made it half way to the NAHRA Started Retriever title by qualifying in two tests at the Meinheart Property in Cheltenham, MD. Beau is owned by Mark and Linda Reynolds and handled by Linda.

Brumley Farm has a new Champion!   “Bogey” is now CH* Quillquest Band Plays On CGC TDI by winning WD and BOW at the Spartanburg KC show for a 3 pt. major.  Thanks to Gillian Impey “Quillquest” for a great puppy.

CH Darktarn Neptune’s Raven, “Raven” was BOB Fri 7/28 at  Hendersonville KC -Greenville, SC,  Sat 7/29 at  Greenville KC-Greenville, SC, and Sun 7/30 at Spartanburg KC-Greenville, SC.  That is a total of 6 BOB wins in the last 2 week-ends of being shown in the breed ring! Raven is handled by Lori Pauley, owned by M. Butsavage/J. Brumley.

CH SR U-CD U-AGI Blazin’s Back O’ The Moon CDX JH NA WC CGC, “Cosmo”, qualified in Started both days.    There is no title at this level in UKC/HRC, but the 2 Started passes mean he will only need 3 Seasoned passes instead of 4 for his Hunting Retriever (HR) title.   Cosmo is owned by Melody Daniels, Dawn Buttion and Marty Archambeault, and was handled by Melody.

CH Allegro’s Free Man in Paris WC CGC, “Beau,” owned by Mark and
Linda Reynolds and handled by Linda, qualified in the JH test to earn
the 2nd leg toward his title. We’re having fun now!

SR CH Rainbow Autumn’s First Frost JH WC CGC  “Risa”, handled by Janet,
finished her Championship Sunday, winning WB and taking her 4th major!
Risa is loved and owned by Cary and Janet Ciarico.

At the Independence Cluster weekend of shows in West Friendship, Maryland, Linda Reynolds handled Beau to a new championship. Beau is owned by Mark and Linda Reynolds

CH Blazin’s Carpe Diem CD JH WCX CGC “Dino”, owned by Scott & Tina Borden and handled by Scott, won Best of Breed and Group 3 under Dorothy Nickles.  While this was not Dino’s first group placement, it was a first for Scott, who had not handled a dog in the show ring for over a year!

• Light-Foot’s Robin Hood, Archer, owned by Bill and Monica Stephens, won Best Puppy Sweepstakes

• Ch. Rainbow’s Autumn Classic, “Simon”, owned by Erica Wallace and John Evenson, won Best of Breed.  Erica and John followed up with this note:

“Hi everyone,
I just want to thank everyone who supported Simon (Ch. Rainbow’s Autumn
Classic) at the Plainfield KC in Freehold, NJ on Sunday!  What a thrill to
see him get Best of Breed at the Mid Atlantic FC club supported entry with
