“Brook”, SR Bertschire’s Avalanche WC CGC, owned by John and Sandy Bulger, handled by John, earned the title NAHRA Started Retriever.

CH SR Lyric’s Kay CD JH WCX CGC TDI, “Katie”,  and Al Jenkins helped maintain a perfect pass rate for flat-coated retrievers in this test.  Katie was one of three flat-coats running that day, and all passed.  This is Katie’s second leg toward her WR title with NAHRA.  A deceptive water double separated the qualifiers from the rest of the pack, but flat-coats, having their own way of doing the marks, had little trouble.

“Piper”, Blazin’s Enchanted Forest, won Best Puppy In Match under club member Judy Delventhal!  Later in the day Piper along with “Prue”, Blazin’s Eternal Flame, won Best Litter In Match!!!  These puppies were handled by their proud Breeders and Owners, Dawn Buttion & Marty Archambeault.

CH SR Lyric’s Kay CD JH WCX CGC TDI, “Katie”, with owner/trainer/handler Al Jenkins achieved their first mid-level hunting test leg!  The test was a Working Retriever test (land double, water double, water blind, quarter, trail).  While they did struggle through the water blind, a qualifying score was earned.  Two weeks prior they earned their Started Brass Band award from NAHRA by completing four Started level tests in one calendar year.  They also qualified for the NAHRA regional invitational for 2001.

“Piper”, Blazin’s Enchanted Forest, won Best In Match under Betsy Horn Humer!!!  We are very proud of Piper and will put her picture in the nice brass frame that she won.  This match did not separate puppies and adults so Piper had to act like a big dog! 🙂

Ch Quillquest Band Plays On **CD** CGC TDI, “Bogey”,  qualified to earn his AKC obedience CD title. Bogey is owned by Jane Brumley.  He was trained by Jane & daughter Karen, and he was handled by Dr.Karen Brumley Pool.

At the Finger Lakes Kennel Club show, part of the Wine Country Circuit of dog shows in Romulus, NY CH Blazin’s Carpe Diem CD JH WCX, “Dino”, owned by Scott and Tina Borden, handled by Dawn Buttion, won Best of Breed on Friday 9/29 .  Dino also made the cut in very competitive Best of Breed competition on Saturday 9/30 and Sunday 10/1 at the Wine Country Circuit.

CH SR U-CD U-AGI Blazin’s Back O’ The Moon CDX JH OA WC CGC, “Cosmo”, earned his first Agility Excellent leg with a 95 and second place.  Cosmo is owned by Melody Daniels, Dawn Buttion and Marty Archambeault,  handled by Melody.

“Our baby “Selkie”, Tidalflats’ Selkie,  took a Sporting Group III  (over a respectable sporting entry).   This was her first time ever in the show ring and she did a great job for handler/momma Jane.”  
Selkie is owned by Jane Borazcek and Cliff Williams.

Ch Victory’s Bravo Zulu JH OA OAJ WC, “Zu”, owned by Chris and Kate Hutchinson, and handled by Kate, earned his first Agility Excellent leg   And he placed 1st in the class, an
added bonus to a perfect run!

CH SR U-CD U-AGI Blazin’s Back O’ The Moon CDX JH *OA* WC CGC, “Cosmo”, finished his Open Agility title with a first place win — and his 7th new title since Aug. 1999. Cosmo is owned by Melody Daniels, Dawn Buttion and Marty Archambeault, trained and handled in agility by Melody.
