Treasure was a half brother to Joyce Brackney’s Stoney and was a very special dog.  He won several classes at various National Specialities.  He was also a superb field dog enjoying field work until his passing.

My first love when it came to dogs was Shetland Sheepdogs. Although I’m very active with Flat-Coats now, I still have shelties and Storm joined our family back in 2006. I think he thinks he is a herding, retrieving FC-Sheltie cross breed. He likes to run in the field with the big dogs and even though he is a small guy, he has the heart of a lion.

Beau was my heart dog and took on the job of filling a void left by a personal tragedy in our lives. He was my constant companion until he left us without warning and with so much life left to live. It still hurts to think about him. I am eternally grateful to him for his devotion and faithful companionship.

Making this Christmas Eve a bit somber for us, we bid farewell to our sweet Gooey.  Flat-Coat till the end, she enjoyed an afternoon romp in the big yard with the pack, ate dinner and even managed a late night ‘turf-grab’ (her favorite activity) before her swift decline. We will miss and love you always!
