BIG news from Brook! Sandy writes:
July 27, 2006 /She is now Ch SR Bertschire’s Avalanche *CDX* NA OAJ MH WCX CGC *HOF pending*.
Bright and early Monday morning, July 3, “Brook” decided she COULD sit stay and down stay, and thus qualified for the elusive 3rd leg in Open Obedience at the Rock Creek KC show in So. Maryland. The previous weekend, she qualified in Open Agility for her OAJ. That combination, we believe, qualifies her for the FCRSA Hall of Fame, and we couldn’t be more excited!!
We thought being Bertschire’s first Master Hunter was way past wonderful, but this is just the best!!
Needless to say, we never thought we’d have a dog at this level, and we couldn’t be more proud nor excited!!!!!!!!!!! Brook is owned and loved by John and Sandy Bulger.

What a spring for the Bulger dogs!
June 27, 2006 /In John and Sandy’s words . . .
“Chase“, *Ch* Huntlane Chasin’ Daisies JH *WC* earned his Championship with back to back majors at Anniston KC and Montgomery KC in Alabama on April 28 and 29 with Cathy Reinhart handling. Then it was off to the Specialty where he earned his WC and took 3rd in Unsteady Singles. When he made the cut in his class, we knew he was having a good week!
“Brook”, Ch SR Bertschire’s Avalanche CD NA *OAJ* MH WCX earned her Open JWW title June 23 at the PVGRC trial with her friend and handler, Vita Kencel. Then the next day, she earned her second Open Standard leg. She acts like she’s finally got this agility thing figured out! At the Specialty, she got prettied up and took a 4th place in Veteran 7-9 Bitches. We’re proud of our princess girl!
And “Sunny“, Ransom’s Camden Sunshine *MH* WCX gave us one of our proudest moments! On April 22-23, at the Yadkin River Waterfowl Retriever Club, he became a Master Hunter. Sunny screwed up his 1st MH test on the last bird, then earned the title in 5 straight. Although he only lives with flat-coats, we think he is one awesome dog!!!
