Betsy and Emma earned their AKC Urban Canine Good Citizen Title (CGCU) on January 8. The CGCU title is an advanced level of the Canine Good Citizen program designed to test dogs in urban environments. The title requires that the dog demonstrate good citizen skills and beyond in a setting that includes traffic, crowds, crossing streets, noises, smells, food on the sidewalk, approaching strangers and other distractions that are present in a city.

Azula, GCHB CH Grousemoor Blue Flame A Blazin BN RA MX MXB MXJ MJB MXF T2B ACT1 ACT1J FCAT CGC, ended 2024 with a bang!! She won Best of Opposite/Best of Breed Owner Handled at the Mid-Atlantic Flat-Coat club supported entry finishing her Grand Champion Bronze and topping it off with an Owner Handled Group 3. Rhea, CH Blazin’s Quicksilver Moon FCAT ACT1 ACT1J, shown only Saturday, won WB/BW for her 3rd 5 Point supported win and her CHAMPIONSHIP.

Piston, GCHB CH MACH BLAZIN’S OFF ROAD DRIVE’N CD BN RA MXS MJS MXP MJP OF FCAT3, won Best Opposite Veteran In Sweeps on Saturday and Best Veteran in Sweepstakes on Sunday.

Piston’s young daughter Luna, Victory Velvet Moon, won Reserve winners both days and Best Puppy in Sweepstakes on Saturday. Luna is owned and bred by Tracey Fudge and Judy Gladson.

Quigley is owned by Pam and Jerry Ambrose and Blazin, Azula is owned by Blazin and Helen, and Rhea and Piston are owned by Blazin!
