Story and Gent did very nice work at their first test in 2009 to finish their SH titles. Friends were there and that just makes it more fun!!

Brook, CH Bertschire’s Avalanche CDX MH AX AXJ WCX HOF is still working!  She earned her first and second Utility A legs this weekend, Aug 22-23, at Oriole DTC.  It was fun…the second leg came under flat-coat judge, Janice Anthes!

Athercroft Tequila Mockingbird (HarperLee) picked up another point on Sat. going WB, while on Friday Ch. Athercroft Not For A Melon Bucks (Freddie) won the breed and made the cut in the sporting group-a Group 7 as I call it! Both are owned and handled by Ruth Marsh

At the Lawkawanna and Bald Eagle KC shows, while visiting my parents on the lake, “Sofie” (Blazin’s Impossible Choice CGC) won back to back Winners and on Sunday took the Breed.   “Finley” (Four Corners Bow And Arrow), feeling left out, took Winners and Opposite on Sunday. Sofie and Finley are owned by Judy Terchek and Dawn Buttion

Cheryl and Buzz Beach report that Captain (Victory Flight to Riverwind) went WD and BOW for his first (!!!) 2 points on Sunday, July 5, at the National Capital Club show at Howard County under Judge Jerry Weiss.  He was expertly handled by Cathy Pullian and Deb Brady.  This was his fourth show of the long weekend with round trips each day from Rock Hall.  He took the entire experience with aplomb even managing formal stacks!  We are so proud of our lovely boy.

Marcie earned her FDCh  (500+ points) 5/30 and FDCh-S (1000+ points) 6/20.  She’s on a roll!  She was televised on 6/24 local news for a flyball demo:

“Piper” has been very busy this spring having earned 3 titles since April and is now known as SR Victory’s Follow the Leader RN JH WC. She earned her RN in 3 straight shows in March and April, completed her WC at the Specialty, and finished up her Started Retriever title the next weekend. Piper is owned and loved by Neal & Helenmary Cody and trained by Helenmary (who still can’t believe she is doing field work!)

Ch. Athercroft Not For A Melon Bucks  (Freddie) was awarded a Judges Award of Merit at the 2009 National.  His litter mate was also JAM’ed.  Freddie is owned/handled/adored by Ruth Marsh

Arthur, handled by Shari, earned his WC Certificate and one JH leg at the National Specialty in Rhode Island.  He also recently earned his TDI Certification and will begin Therapy work in Richmond County, VA very soon.

Ch. Flashback’s Sweet Talkin’ Guy RA WC CGC “Boone” owned by Melody Daniels and the late Sharon Rich, made his debut appearance with his new owner, and won 4th place in Working Dogs!
