CH Blazin’s Isle of Avalon CD RN JH WC CGC TDI “Arthur” won Best of Breed and Blazin’s Keira of Avalon “Keira” Best of Opposite Sex (both owned by Shari Faina & Jim Kurdziel) at the Warrenton Kennel Club Show under Karen Wilson.  This win counts as his 1st major win toward his Grand Championship and second win over another CH.  Keira earned her first point!  The two continued their successful weekend with Arthur earning 2 Select Dog ribbons and Keira 2 Reserve Winners.

What a great weekend in Westminster, MD. Ch Quillquest’s Leading Lady RA, JH, *AX*, OAJ, NF, NAP, WCX, CGC “Dancer” owned by Penny Woodward completed her 3rd leg on Saturday in Excellent A STD with a 1st place to earn her AX title and picked up a second leg in AXJ on Sunday with a 3rd place. It was so great to be able to do this amongst our CRFCRC group working as my ring crews and supporters. Thanks to all for such a great weekend!

Ch SR Bertschire’s Avalanche CDX AX AXJ OAP NJP MH WCX VFCR2 HOF “Brook” owned by John & Sandy Bulger, earned her Open Preferred title at the PVGRC trial.  Tina Borden kindly handled her to 2 legs and the title, while running together for the first time.  That’s quite a tribute to both of them.  It was great fun for all!

At the PVGRC agility trial, “Eagle” Ch Salasana Double Arrow CD RA JH OA AXJ NJP GCG HOF  finished his Novice Jumpers Preferred title.  At the same trial “Faith” Ch Blazin’s Gardez La Foi CD RA NA NAJ NAP NJP NF finished her Novice Fast title. Both titles were finished in three straight trials.  Eagle and Faith are owned by Dawn Buttion & Marty Archambeault.

Ch Quillquest’s Leading Lady JH, OA, OAJ, NF, NAP, *RA*, WCX, CGC “Dancer” owned by Penny Woodward picked up her 3rd leg in Berryville, VA at the BRDTC Obedience trial on Saturday, August 7th, to earn her RA title.

At the Nita Nee shows in July, “Faith” Ch Blazin’s Gardez La Foi CD *RA* NA NAJ NAP NJP CGC and “Chilly” Ch Blazin’s Ice Mountain *RN* CGC  finished Rally titles.  At the same shows “Gooey” Blazin’s Krazy Glue won back-to-back points.  Faith, Chilly and Gooey are owned by Dawn Buttion & Marty Archambeault & Bryce.

This past weekend at the Blue Ridge Dog Training Club’s agility trial in Winchester, VA, Dancer -Ch Quillquest’s Leading Lady JH, OA, *OAJ*, NF, NAP, RN, WCX, CGC “Dancer” owned by Penny Woodward.,finished her Open Jumpers with Weaves and picked up a double Q in Excellent A on Sunday with two first place finishes. What an awesome weekend.

Over a firecracker hot weekend, HarperLee picked up her final three points and is now ‘CH’ Athercroft Tequila Mockingbird. HarperLee is owned, bred and shown by Ruth Marsh.

The Marsh house had a nice specialty with several placements and qualifying scores!
Athercroft Virgoes the Neighborhood “Hudson”, was second in the 6-9 puppy class. Hudson is owned by Ruth Marsh, Dee Turkelson and Donna Slavin.

Athercroft Tequila Mockingbird, “HarperLee’, placed 3rd in the Am.Owned class. HarperLee is owned by Ruth Marsh and Dee Turkelson.

Fishercreek Magic Johnson, “Johnson”, qualified in his rally class and made two cuts in the breed.

Ch. Athercroft Not for a Melon Bucks, “Freddie”, made all but the last cut in the breed and had two of his puppies go 1 and 2 in the 9-12 bitch class.

We could only attend the last few days of the Specialty, but it was sure fun!    “Boone”, Ch. Flashback’s Sweet Talkin’ Guy CD RE JH WC CGC, earned his first RAE leg by placing 3rd (100) in Rally Exc. B and qualifying (97) in Adv. B.    Then in breed he won 1st place in Working Retriever Dogs class!    On the way home, he picked up his 4th JH leg for the title.   Boone has 3 new titles this spring, all earned in consecutive trials/tests.   Owned by Melody Daniels and the late Sharon Rich
