Shalyn’s Silky Soul Singer CGC “Maze” earned his 1st Rally Novice leg at the Irish Setter Club of America Rally Trial in Hampton, VA. He also had a respectable try in Beginner Novice—just took too wide a swing on the recall—we’ll get it next time!!

Shalyn’s Silky Soul Singer CGC “Maze” owned by Brenda Boesel won his first 3 point major at the Raleigh Kennel Club show in Raleigh, NC. He was shown to Winner’s Dog by his breeder, Sherri Lilley-Peck and then went on to take Best of Winners, handled by his owner. We are all so proud of this boy.

Pennfields Philadelphia Fanatic CD, RN, FDCh, TDI “Zealot” owned by Karen Wiley, finished his Novice Standard and Novice JWW agility titles with all 1st placements at Berks Agility trial.  He also earned his 1st Open Standard leg there and his 2nd Open Standard leg the next weekend, both with 1st place ribbons.

Shasta’s Roadrunner CD, RN, NA, FDX, TDI “Tex” owned by Karen Wiley, also finished his Novice JWW title at Berks, with a 1st place.  He also earned his 1st Open Standard leg there and the next weekend picked up his first Open JWW leg, all with blue ribbons.

Ch Pennfield’s K2 CDX, RE, JH, MX, MXJ, OF, FM, WC “Sonic” owned by Karen Wiley, won Ex. B JWW 24″ at Berks and came in 3rd the next day.  Alas, can’t get it together in Standard for those QQs we need.

MACH Merganser’s Sirius Black UD, RE, TD, GO, JH, MXF, AXP, AJP,WCX, SDD, FMX “Icon” owned by Karen Wiley, was back in the JWW ring to earn his first MXJP leg.  I think those are the letters 🙂

Shasta’s Roadrunner CD, RN, NA, FDX, TDI “Tex” owned by Karen Wiley followed the rules just enough to earn his first JH leg.  His sense of humor on the land series almost did him in, but his alter ego came through on the water to earn nice comments from the judges.

Pennfields Philadelphia Fanatic CD, RN, FDCh, TDI “Zealot” owned by Karen Wiley earned 2 more JH legs at Keystone Retriever Club.  1 more to go!

MACH Merganser’s Sirius Black CDX, RE, TD, GO, JH, MXF, AXP, AJP,WCX, SDD, FMX “Icon” owned by Karen Wiley finally earned his UD, 6 yrs. after his first leg.  We started and stopped many times along the way, but ended up on the same page together.

Ch Pennfield’s K2 CDX, RE, JH, MX, MXJ, OF, FM, WC “Sonic” owned by Karen Wiley, earned her first Utility leg at Harrisburg KC with a 1st place.
