Pennfields Philadelphia Fanatic CDX, RN,OA,OAJ, FDCh, TDI “Zealot” owned by Karen Wiley, finished his CDX at Dauphin DTC.  He also won Dauphin’s Chet Monaghan award for highest scoring club member dog.  His portrait will be hung on the training club wall with other great dogs from the last 20 years, but he will be the first Flat Coat.

Once again, U-CH Shalyn’s Silky Soul Singer RN, CGC “Maze” owned by Brenda Boesel had a great day in North Carolina winning another time on a Sunday. He took  Best of Winners and Best Opposite at the Furniture City Kennel Club Show in Winston-Salem, NC. 

Ch Pennfield’s K2 CDX, RE, JH, MX, MXJ, OF, FM, WC “Sonic” owned by Karen Wiley, earned her 2nd Utility leg at Back Mountain KC with a 1st place.  It was nice to have so many Flat Coat friends there to see it!

Magic Surf’s Up at Westwind RN JH WC CGC “Surfer” (owned by William & Monica Stephens & Thomas Stephens & Claudia Henning) and handled by Monica and Ch Shasta Heaven Sent to Westwind JH WC CGC “Treasure” (owned by William & Monica Stephens) and handled by Bill earned their Junior Hunter titles at the Del Bay Retriever Club’s Hunt Test at Rebel Ridge Farms under Judges John Bulger and Karen Kennedy.  These were the only two FCR’s entered in Junior.

Surfer was the oldest dog entered in Junior and is the first dog Monica has handled to a JH.

The following day at Rebel Ridge, Treasure earned an insurance leg at the Labrador Retriever Club’s Hunt Test.

Ch Four Corners Bow and Arrow, WC  *JH*  “Finley”  earned his fourth leg for the title at the PVGRC hunt test in MD.

Ch Shalyn’s Belle Bottom Blues RN “Belle” owned, handled and bred by Sherri Lilley-Peck earned her Rally Novice obedience title with placements in three straight trials at a year old.

U-CH Shalyn’s Silky Soul Singer RN, CGC “Maze” owned by Brenda Boesel gave his mom a wonderful birthday present by earning his 2nd Rally Novice leg on the evening of Oct 19, 2012 and then turned around and finished his title the next day with nice scores of 92 & 93.

Shasta’s Roadrunner CD, RN, NA, NAJ, FDX, TDI “Tex” owned by Karen Wiley, nailed the standard course his first day in Ex. A for a 1st place finish.

At the MAFCRC supported entry, “Eagle” GCh Salasana Double Arrow CD RE JH OA AXJ NJP CGC HOF won Best Veteran In Sweepstakes and “Faith” BOSS GCh Blazin’s Gardez La Foi CD GN RE NA NAJ NAP NJP NF CGC won Best Opposite Veteran In Sweepstakes.  At the same show Faith’s daughter “Katie” CH BLAZIN’S KISS ME KATE won her 4th major for her Championship. Faith’s son “Rudy” BISS GCH BLAZIN’S JOIE DE VIVRE CD JH WC won a Judges Award Of Merit.  I had the pleasure of showing both Katie and Rudy.  Eagle and Faith are
owned by Dawn Buttion & Marty Archambeault, Katie by Judy Riedel
and Rudy by Don & Sue Bierer.

Shasta’s Roadrunner CD, RN, NA, NAJ, FDX, TDI “Tex” owned by Karen Wiley, finished his Open Standard agility title.
