GCH MACH Athercroft Sweet S’melon BN CDX RN JH OF MXS MJS WC ‘Bungee’ earned her last CDX leg at the national to earn her spot in the Hall of Fame.  Bungee is owned by Donna Slavin, Ruth Marsh and Dee Turkelson

Bungee also qualified in rally, veteran’s obedience and several agility classes AND won the Working Retrievers bitch class to earn her GRITS award!

In Ga, 2yr old “Belle”,  Ch Shalyn’s Belle Bottom Blues RN owned, bred and handled by Sherri Lilley-Peck won second place in Rally Novice B with a score of 98, and earned her first leg in Rally Advanced B with a 94!

GCh. Flashback’s Sweet Talkin’ Guy CD RE JH NAJ WC CGC VFCR1 “Boone” owned by Melody Daniels, secured his 3-sport award in his first couple hours at the Specialty by placing in Vet Sweeps and Rally and qualifying in Obedience.    Such a good boy!   He also made the cut in Gundog Sweeps, and later in the week he won the Working Dog class.   

Athercroft Hautedawg “Henry” owned by Ruth Marsh and Dee Turkelson won the Bredby Exhibitor class.

“Piper”, senior owner of Neal & Helenmary Cody, has been working very hard at agility and it is starting to show. She finished her MXJ on 4/6 at the Capital DTC trial and then 2 weeks later finished her MX at the inaugural Carroll Kennel Club trial. She is now known as Victory’s Follow the Leader CDX RN MX MXJ XF JH WCX VFCR2. She even picked up her first 2 Double Qs towards her MACH. And only 18 to go!

Darkwater All That Glitters *JH* WC CGC “Neon” owned by Penny Woodward qualified on Sunday, April 14th, for his Junior Hunter title at Rappahannock River Retriever Club under judges Carol Lewis an Karen Kennedy.  The day couldn’t be prettier for the test and I couldn’t have been happier or more proud of my boy.  His work was exceptional and he showed many just how great flat-coats are in the field.

Darkwater All That Glitters WC CGC “Neon” owned by Penny Woodward picked up two more novice agiliy legs and 1st place ribbons with back to back Qs with clean runs at CAKC on March 3rd.  His jumpers course was the third fastest time in the whole trial an I’m so glad he decided to listen as mom could not keep up with him. 2 down, 1 to go for NA and NAJ titles.  Fingers crossed!

GCh. Flashback’s Sweet Talkin’ Guy CD RE JH NAJ WC CGC VFCR1 “Boone”, owned and handled by Melody Daniels, made his Veteran Sweeps debut at the CRFCRC Spring Supported and won Best in Vet Sweeps!    He also placed first and second in several Rally and Obed classes and showed unopposed in Working Dogs, for a total haul from the weekend of 10 ribbons, a toy, a tote, a chair, an umbrella, and a couple of checks!

GCh Athercroft Not for a Melon Bucks “Freddie” owned by Ruth Marsh, was Best of Breed at the CRFCRC’s spring supported.  Coming out of the veterans class is always a special way to win over such lovely competition!  Freddie enjoyed the burgers on the way home!
