Bronze Grand in Hand!
January 29, 2022 / Ruth MarshTwist (GCH*B* Athercroft Kama Siouxtra) was awarded BOS and an Owner Handled Group 2 at the Richmond shows. This gave her enough points to qualify for her Bronze status! Dee and I are very proud of Twist!

January 28, 2022 / Dawn Buttion & Marty Archambeault & Colin & BrycePiston, GCHB BLAZIN’S OFF ROAD DRIVE’N CD BN RA MX MXB MXJ MJS OF FCAT3, finished his Bronze Grand Championship in conformation and then went on to finish his Silver Master Jumpers title in agility!! Piston is owned and loved by Marty, Dawn, Colin and Bryce!

Coffee earns Scent Detective ACE/Master Team Award
January 1, 2022 / Stephen (Chris) & Gwen CarrAt the Blue Ridge K-9 Training Center on New Years Day, Coffee earned her ACE or championship title in the C-WAGS Scent Detective Level. This championship title also earned her the Masters Team Level 2 award. It is earned when a team achieves championship titles in 3 out of the 4 disciplines offered by the venue. She previously earned obedience and games level 2 ACEs to complete the Masters Award.

Coffee earns C-WAGS ARF title!
December 19, 2021 / Stephen (Chris) & Gwen CarrAt the Ruffin’ It C-WAGS trial, Coffee (Blazin’s Quenched By Caffeine) and three other dogs earned the ARF rally title. It’s a rally class that combines agility and freestyle in a rally course. The trial location was Periland in Knoxville, MD.

Calder Finishes Up The Year Adding Agility Titles
December 19, 2021 / Penny WoodwardOn Dec 18-19, Calder finished up the year adding 2 more titles to his name. At the SVKC agility trial in Reva, VA, Saturday he earned his first ever agility title NJP and then, on Sunday, finished up his NAP. Calder is Quillquest Yin Yang and Darkwater.

Azula’s Fantastic Adventure
December 19, 2021 / Dawn Buttion & Marty Archambeault & Colin & BryceAzula, CH Grousemoor Blue Flame A Blazin CGC, finished her Championship at 13 months with 3 majors, 3 Best of Breed Owner Handlers, 2 Owner Handled Group 3’s, a Supported Best Of Opposite Sex over 6 specials for 5 points and a Supported Best Puppy in Sweepstakes. After learning what showing was in her 1st show, Azula went Winners 7 out of 8 with 1 Reserve. Azula is owned and loved by Dawn, Marty, Colin, Bryce and her breeder Helen Szostak.

Coffee earns BN-V and CPE Level 3 title!
December 4, 2021 / Stephen (Chris) & Gwen CarrCoffee (Blazin’s Quenched By Caffeine) finished her Level 3 Handler title in CPE agility and debuted in Level 5 at the Periland trial in Knoxville, MD. That same weekend, we received notice she earned her third leg for her BN-V.

Supported Weekend Fun!
November 28, 2021 / Ruth MarshTwist, GCH Athercroft Kama Siouxtra, won the breed over some excellent competition on the Sunday of the supported Weekend.
Tito, Fishercreek Athercroft Jackson Five, was BOS in the sweeps on Sat and was awarded Winners Dog for his first 2 points!

The Blazin’ Q litter owners group has been a real treat to be a part of. The brothers and sisters see each other often and really enjoy summer outings at the pool together. They are great ambassadors for the breed.

Victory YaYa Sisters earn BCATs
November 21, 2021 / Steve and Betsy SurprenantAt the PVGRC FAST Cat trials, Emma (Victory’s M CDX RE SH MHU CGCA TKP BCAT), and her younger YaYa sister, Sarge (Victory’s Staff Sergeant BCAT), both earned their BCAT titles and successfully retired from FAST Cat!!
