At the Metropolitan Washington Dachshund Club Obedience trail held in Winchester, VA, Calder earned his CD title under judge David Brobst and picked up an Advanced Rally leg under judge Joanne Brobst. Calder is Quillquest Yin Yang and Darkwater BCAT, BN, *CD*, CGC, DS, JH, NAP, NJP, RATN, RN. On to Open A!

Sarge earned her Junior Hunter (JH) title at the Keystone Retriever Club AKC Double Junior Hunt Test at Mount Ararat Farm in Port Deposit, MD. Sarge only needed one pass, but she was entered and qualified in both tests. Sarge says anytime you get eight ducks in one day, it’s a great day! A special thanks to Keystone for putting on a successful double HT, to judging teams Ron Reed & Dora Hefflefinger and Ray Seddon & Linda Christy, and to Gaby Buck for letting Keystone use her incredible property.

On July 23, 2022 at 10 years of age, Juvi, GCH CH MACH BLAZIN’S LICENSE TO DRIVE CDX PCDX BN GN RAE JH MXS MJS OF T2B BCAT HOF VFCR1, finished her Master Agility Championship title!! Juvi also picked up her Master Standard Silver and Master Jumper Silver titles along the way!! Juvi is owned and loved by Marty, Dawn, Colin and Bryce!

At the PVGRC WC/X tests, Crimson earned the WC title under judges Judy Gladson and Chris LeBel. It was hot but she stuck to hunting for her first bird and was able to dig out a well hidden hen pheasant. Very proud of her and her tenacity. Crimson is now Flatgold’s Storming Heart *WC*. Not bad for 10 months old.

Sarge earned her WC (Working Certificate) at the Potomac Valley Golden Retriever Club WC/WCX test held at Rover’s Content in Cheltenham, MD. The purpose of the test is to encourage the use of and maintain the natural hunting ability of Flat-Coated and Golden Retrievers by retrieving and delivering birds as quickly as possible in a pleasing, obedient manner. Sarge did a great job! A special thanks to PVGRC for putting on a superb test and to judges Judy Gladson and Chris Lebel.

Crimson (Flatgold’s Storming Heart) earns her first points at the Virginia Kennel Club shows in Richmond, VA on 6-26-22 and then is selected Best of Opposite to put her first points as a 3 point major from the 9-12 puppy class. She had a good time and even gave the judges a kiss. Best of all the tail wag never slowed down.
