Breeze, UKC CH, AM GCH CH Shalyn’s Sweet Virginia Breeze CD BN RE BCAT RATS bred, owned and handled by Sherri Lilley-Peck has been learning scent work. We decided to give it a go and she and I earned her first two Q’s in Novice containers, Interior and Exterior with nice placements at the Merrimac Dog Training trials.

Emma (Victory’s M) picked up her first AKC Utility Dog Q and a 2nd place finish at the Mount Vernon Dog Training Club Obedience Trials at Catoctin Kennel Club in Point of Rocks, MD.

This fall Azula, GCH Grousemoor Blue Flame A Blazin BN RA NA NAJ NF ACT1 ACT1J FCAT, started running agility and I am happy to announce that Azula has earned her NA NAJ and NF and is now in Open. Azula is owned and loved by Dawn, Marty, Colin & Helen.

Miss Pink, Shalyn’s Pink Ice Diamond DCAT bred, owned and handled by Sherri Lilley-Peck earned her Rally Novice obedience title at the Merrimac Dog Training trial with placements in all three trials.

At the Catonsville Kennel Club, Inc. in West Friendship, MD., **CH** Flatgold’s Storming Heart JH WC CGC TKN – Crimson owned by Penny & William Woodward earned her last point for her AKC Championship.

Thrill passed his first Junior Hunt test at the PVGRC test for his first JH leg. He did it in rainy conditions in the afternoon. Both of us were wet and I was cold. Thrill was very happy to get all 4 birds.

At the Mattaponi Kennel Club’s Fast CAT trial, Azula, GCH Grousemoor Blue Flame A Blazin BN RA NA ACT1 ACT1J FCAT, earned her FCAT title by earning 1000 points. Azula is owned and loved by Dawn, Marty, Colin & Helen.

Spent a full day sniffing out odor in Winchester on October 8th where Quillquest Yin Yang and Darkwater CD BN RA JH NA NAP NJP BCAT RATN DS DJ AJ CGC VFCR1 – Calder owned by Penny Woodward pulled off 5 out of 6 passes in AKC Scentwork earning 2 legs each in interiors and exteriors and one in containers. Not bad for a first timer!
