  • 10/09-10/10 In Alexandria, VA

    January 1, 1970 /

    At the Mount Vernon Dog Training Club and Capital Dog Training Club Obedience Trials SR Lyric’s Kay JH WCX CGC TDI, “Katie”, got her first CD leg and High-Scoring Flat-Coated-Retriever in trial. She got her second leg the following day at the Capital Dog Training Club trial. Katie was trained and handled by her owner, Al Jenkins.

  • 9/9-9/10 At the Greater Pittsburgh Golden Retriever Club Hunt Tests

    At the Sagulla Hunting Preserve in Jackson Center, PA

  • CH Blazin Dunlin of Tidalflats WC TDI, “Lin”,  qualified in back-to-back JH tests (handled by her best buddy, Cliff).  This was the first time she has ever run any AKC tests and she came home with half the title.  Lin is owned by Jane Borazcek and Cliff Williams.
  • CH Allegro’s Free Man in Paris *JH* WC, “Beau,” had a fantastic weekend, qualifying in back-to-back tests to finish his Junior Hunter title.  Beau is owned by Mark and Linda Reynolds and handled by Linda.
  • 1/20/01 – 1/21/01 At the Camden County KC show in Pennsauken, NJ

    “Brook”, SR Bertschire’s Avalanche WC CGC, owned by John and Sandy Bulger, handled by Sandy, won WB on Saturday and RWB at same show on Sunday, Jan 21.  These were her first points!

  • 5/19/01 – 5/20/01 At the Tidewater Retriever Club’s UKC/HRC hunt tests in Varina, VA

    “Cosmo” , CH SR **SHR ** U-CD U-AGI Blazin’s Back O’ The Moon CDX JH OA WC CGC, finished his Started Hunting Retriever title with 4 straight passes. Cosmo is owned by Melody Daniels, Dawn Buttion & Marty Archambeault, and resides with Melody.

    Abby, Shasta Meant For Streett’s End JH CD, can add a JH to her forgotten CD. Picked it up at Swamp Dog. She also went Best Op at Middleburg. Ike still needs help. Gunner went BOB at the Sat. of Upper Potomac. Hope all is well. Look forward to the supported.

  • Sherri Lilley and the girls!

    “Shayla”, Shalyn’s Not Just a Pretty Face (Dino x. Reggae), bred, owned and trained by Sherri Lilley, made her puppy debut at the CRFCRC spring fun match held March 27, 2004 at the Oriole DTC building in MD. She won her 3-6 month puppy class and then went Best Puppy in the match!

    “Reggae”, Ch SR TLC & Shalyn’s Rhythm of the Island, CD NA *NAJ* NAP *WC* CGC (Cosmo daughter), owned, trained and handled by Sherri Lilley, earned her third Novice Jumpers with Weaves leg on Sunday, April 4, 2004 at the Merrimac DTC agility trial in Gloucester, VA, taking first place in the rain, wind and cold. The following weekend, on Saturday, April 10, 2004, at the Hampton Roads OTC agility trial in the rain and cold, Reggae earned her first Open Jumpers with Weaves leg also taking first place out of seven competitors jumping 24″. On Sunday, Reggae qualified twice in the freezing rain and cold double Working Certificate tests held by PVGRC in Cheltenham, MD. Sherri writes, “Guess we work well in the rain and cold.” Reggae is now eligible for the FCRSA Versatility (*VFCR1*) Certificate!

  • “Mesa” had a very nice Fall. She is now *Ch* Blazin’s Fire On The Mountain *CD* CGC

    In September, “Mesa” was BOW’s/BOS at Warrenton KC for 2 points and WB at Old Dominion KC for 2 points.

    In October, Mesa and Diane entered the Obedience ring for the first time. Mesa earned her CD title in 3 straight trials, with scores ranging from 192.5 to 195. In all, she was shown in Novice A 5 times and came away with 5 qualifying scores, two first placements, one second place, a third place, 2 High Scoring FCR in trial awards, and one High Scoring Sporting Breed in Novice A award.

    In November, Mesa finished her Championship in great style by earning WB/BW and a 5 point major, her third major, at the Upper Marlboro KC show. Later that same day, she earned a HSFCR in trial award, by winning a run off for Second Place in Novice A. Diane writes: “I am very proud of her accomplishments in the breed ring, as she finished nicely despite being handled by me, a very inexperienced handler to say the least.”

    Mesa is owned, handled, trained and very, very much loved by Diane Orth Fong.
