6/12/04 – At the Bryn Mawr KC show in Ludwigs Corner, PA
June 12, 2004 /Bill and Monica Stephens are thrilled to announce that “Archer” (*Ch* Light-Foot’s Robin Hood WC), finished his Championship with his second Best of Breed win. The previous weekend, he qualified at the Susquehanna Retriever Club Junior Hunter test for his third JH leg. Good luck on that final leg after the move . . . we will all miss you!

5/16/04 – At the Carroll KC show in Westminster, MD
May 16, 2004 /“Hannah”, Homeport Passage to Riverwind, won her first point going WB and BOS under Judge Kathleen Patterson. Hannah is owned by Cheryl and Buzz Beach and handled by Cheryl.

5/2/04 – At the Lab Club of the Potomac hunt test
May 2, 2004 /“Quest”, Ch Skywalker Galaxy Quest CD *SH* WCX, passed his fourth straight Senior Hunter test for his title!! Joan Bensen writes, “Wow, what a ride this past month has been!”. I guess so, Joan!

5/2/04 – At the Oriole Dog Training Club’s Agility Trial in MD
May 2, 2004 /“Brook”, Ch SR Bertschire’s Avalanche CD SH WCX, earned her second Novice Standard leg, owner handled by John Bulger! This closely follows Brook’s first MH leg, and she’s planning lots more hunt tests and agility trials in the next few months! Congrats to Sandy, John and Brook!

Tina Borden and Vita!
April 17, 2004 /“Vita”, Ch Blazin’s Doppelbock CDX JH *AX* OAJ WCX, finished his AX title at the Canaan Dog Club of America trial on April 17th in Leesburg, VA. He finished 11 seconds under time and took a blue ribbon in his height class! Tina writes, “You should’ve seen his weave poles . . . they were surprisingly fast and beautiful. It was a zen moment, which doesn’t happen often for us :)! He is now, my Super dog!”

4/15/04 – At the Catoctin Kennel Club agility trial in MD
April 15, 2004 /“Prue”, Ch Blazin’s Eternal Flame CD *NA* OAJ, earned her 3rd NA leg, clean run and 1st place for her NA title! Prue is owned by Dawn Buttion and Marty Archambeault and handled by Marty.

A new Champion!
April 3, 2004 /At the Upper Marlboro KC show on July 3, “Sky”, *Ch* Salasana Blazin Arrow, won Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best Of Breed for a 4 point major under Walter Sommerfelt, finishing her Championship!! Sky was handled to Winners by Dawn and then handled to Best Of Breed by her Junior buddy Alex. At the Catoctin KC show, Sky’s brother “Eagle”, Ch Salasana Double Arrow, won Best Of Breed under Carol Brown. In Juniors, the team of Alex and Eagle placed 3rd in the Open Senior class. They looked great and Eagle’s tail never stopped wagging. Sky and Eagle are owned by Dawn Buttion & Marty Archmbeault and Eagle is co-owned with Alexandra Bialozor.

Exciting obedience news for Sandy Howley and Gracy!
March 14, 2004 /“Gracy” has earned her first obedience title in great Flat-coat style, and is now SR Banquo’s Strikes Our Fancy JH WC *CD*. (Flat-coat style? That would be exmplified by the full 3-minute display of Gracy’s 180-degree-tail-wagging effort displayed during the down-stay exercise, offering cause for Sandy’s 3-minute say-a-little-prayer effort! “I’m looking for fun, Mom, so watch out!”) At the “Dog Owners” obedience trial at the Howard County Fairgrounds, on Sunday, March 14th, Sandy and Gracy earned their third novice leg for Gracy’s CD title. Of the 45 dogs competing in the class, Gracy’s score of 188.5 earned her a tie for a third-place tanding, and a run-off opportunity for a placement. Although they didn’t come away with a second ribbon, it was a great day!

Kate and Zu have “Mastered” agility!
March 13, 2004 /“Zu”, Ch Victory’s Bravo Zulu CD SH *MX* AXJ WCX, earned his MX title on Saturday, March 13th at the Greater Louisville Training Club four day agility trial. Zu earned a total of 6 legs at the 4 day trial, 3 legs in standard and 3 in jumpers. Zu is owned by Chris and Kate Hutchinson and is trained and handled by Kate. Kate writes, “His effort at this trial was outstanding and it was a thrill to run with him!”

2/10/04 – At the Westminster Kennel Club show in NY
February 10, 2004 /“Dina”, Ch SR Quillquest Dinamite JH WCX Can WC, went BOS at Westminster KC last Tuesday, Feb. 10th. Dina was handled, bred and owned by Gillian Impey, who writes, “You can see a picture of her on the MBF website infodog.com Westminster results. She will be getting her steak this week-end!!”
