He was the only dog that got to run three times, and clean for all three, in agility, oops, the clock wasn’t running on his first Standard run! He also qualified in Open Obedience, earning his second leg. Best part was reunion with three of his littermates, the famed Peeheads. Oh, and showing off his new sister, the golden puppy girl Delta.
Dawn Buttion writes, “Marty and I had a great time at the National. The weather was perfect and the show site was wonderful. Of course, we had to drive through the mountains in the middle of a snow storm to get there but we did manage to make it. Getting home wasn’t without at least one glitch. Like having our tire blow out in Roanoke and realizing that we didn’t have the tools to change it and that our spare was flat!! 🙂 We did finally arrive home safe and sound in time to watch Colin play baseball!! Here is what our dogs and those we showed did at the national. I found it very rewarding to either place or make the cut in every class that I exhibited in. Memories that I will keep much longer than the snow storm or the tire blowout!!”
