The 11 ½ years we shared with Augie were full of fun and games.  Augie was the very 1st Blazin puppy and she was definitely a one of a kind girl.  She had a passion for food and a love of all creatures big or small.

Augie loved everyone she met and made us laugh everyday of her life.  We are thankful for all the memories that she gave us including her two National Specialty brood bitch placements.

Tanner was our first Flat-coat. He came to us at age two as “just a pet”. He taught us so much about retrievers, the abilities of our dogs and unconditional love. In the end, our loving pet proved himself to be a talented performance dog. He will be remembered for his incredible heart and playful spirit.

What can I say about Flyer?
He was an incredible spirit and a talented dog with heart. He woke up every day knowing that it was going to be a better day than yesterday and that he would enjoy every minute.
I always said I should be more like him. He was an accomplished dog in all venues and loved to compete because we asked him to. He had a leg amputated at 8 for cancer and lived for another 4 years greeting each day with the same joy he did when he had 4 legs. Flyer was truly an inspiration to me and I was very lucky to enjoy his world with him.

Cosmo came to us in March 1999 as three-year-old at the height of his show and working career, a gift from his breeders, because we needed him. It seems right and natural that he has joined our family, as his mother was born here.

From the time of his arrival, Cosmo blew me away with his incredible potential, his eagerness to please and willingness to work, and his focus. CDX in 3 straight trials . . . UD with placements and 2 *extra* legs . . . 18 field/hunt test passes . . . 20 agility trial passes . . . Hall of Fame . . . 3 National Specialty Working Dog class wins and 2 placements . . . National Specialty Veteran Sweeps class win and placements . . . numerous Best of Breed wins in very limited showing . . . Judge’s Award of Merit in Best of Breed at the 2004 National Specialty at the age of 9 years under Mrs. Brenda Phillips . . . followed by 3 Group placements at 9 to 10.5 years old . . . all while siring 10 beautiful and healthy litters to date.

Cosmo was a happy, gentle, loving soul– everything a flat-coat should be. These are traits that he passed on to his progeny.Click here to see Cosmo’s Kids!
