I fell in love with Christel Crain’s Akka and waited a long time for a breeding to take.  The result was Sonic.  I broke my leg 2 weeks before she came home and Christel was kind enough to help out with the pup while I recovered.  Sonic was a perfect puppy.  She has grown into a hardworking beautiful girl who is my first breed Champion, owner handled.  She is high drive and does not stress in the ring, but is happy to chill at home with her paw on your foot.

Known as “The Mayor” he manages his world with joy, and is a friend to all.

Cei is a love but unfortunately suffers from a condition called diabetes insipidus. It means his kidneys do not concentrate urine properly so unmedicated he wants to drink constantly and then it goes straight through him. Luckily it is easily controlled with medication. Of course this disallows him from conformation competition. He could compete in other avenues but I had such hopes for Arthur’s brother, learning of his disability took the heart out of me. But he has a good life, running our property and sneaking down to the water when no one is looking.

We called him a force of nature for his energy and exuberance! And when they are born in our hands they are even more special. Fly free Rocky.

My first love when it came to dogs was Shetland Sheepdogs. Although I’m very active with Flat-Coats now, I still have shelties and Storm joined our family back in 2006. I think he thinks he is a herding, retrieving FC-Sheltie cross breed. He likes to run in the field with the big dogs and even though he is a small guy, he has the heart of a lion.
