Dories are tough little work boats with classic lines. This was our hope for Dory when we got her. She really lived up to her name with her physical elegance and completely fearless field attitude. She was our first flat-coat and the sweetest dog we have ever owned.
We lost Dory to malignant histioytosis just before her 8th birthday. This disease is all too common in Flat-Coats. Surf here to see what the FCRSA is doing about it.
Dory had two litters before we lost her. You can read more about her and her kids here.

Jazmine was a single pup out of a breeding from my Reggae x Eagle. She won her first 2 points towards her Championship at her first show at 6 months of age. An unfortunate shoulder injury the following day has kept her out of the ring for several years. I decided to breed her and complete her championship at 5years of age after having 11 pups. Jazmine demonstrates great attention and working ability in obedience. She completed her Working certificate despite her shoulder injury to prove her natural hunting ability. Jazmine has always excelled in the water.

Cosmo came to us in March 1999 as three-year-old at the height of his show and working career, a gift from his breeders, because we needed him. It seems right and natural that he has joined our family, as his mother was born here.
From the time of his arrival, Cosmo blew me away with his incredible potential, his eagerness to please and willingness to work, and his focus. CDX in 3 straight trials . . . UD with placements and 2 *extra* legs . . . 18 field/hunt test passes . . . 20 agility trial passes . . . Hall of Fame . . . 3 National Specialty Working Dog class wins and 2 placements . . . National Specialty Veteran Sweeps class win and placements . . . numerous Best of Breed wins in very limited showing . . . Judge’s Award of Merit in Best of Breed at the 2004 National Specialty at the age of 9 years under Mrs. Brenda Phillips . . . followed by 3 Group placements at 9 to 10.5 years old . . . all while siring 10 beautiful and healthy litters to date.
Cosmo was a happy, gentle, loving soul– everything a flat-coat should be. These are traits that he passed on to his progeny.Click here to see Cosmo’s Kids!
