Jesse lived every moment to the fullest. The last two weeks of his life were spent with flat coat friends, in the veteran show ring, retrieving bumpers, and sleeping in my bed. They were good days...
The 13 ½ years we shared with Ravin were wonderful and we can't be anything but thankful for all the memories that she gave us. Ravin won her first point at her 1st show in 1990, and won her class at the National Specialty in 2003.
She leaves a legacy of descendants through her kids. Her elegance and soundness and "look at me" attitude will be seen for generations to come.
Marcie continues to be a great little flyball dog and earned her FM (Flyball Master) on 3/20/10 (5000 points), moving her up to the #25 slot for FCRs in NAFA.
She took part in a demo for the local news station and it can be seen here:

She's in the far (right) lane.
From the moment that Eagle came into my life, he has been my best friend. We have played together every day. We’ve played in many venues -- conformation, agility, obedience, rally and even field. We are the best of friends having a great time together! While we were playing, Eagle was fortunate enough to pick up enough titles and points to earn a spot in the FCRSA Hall of Fame!
Zephyr was our meant-to-be dog. I had been asked if I was interested in a pup from his litter when the litter was born. We were dealing with Hurricane's cancer and we said not now. When the puppies would have been about 9 weeks, I start putting out the word we were interested in getting another Flat-Coat. Less than 48 hours later we were arranging to pick up Zephyr in a couple of weeks. He is everything we could have asked for. He is loving, silly, loves to retrieve and learn. He is laid back but still energetic. His enthusiasm for whatever I asked him to do has even got me to go back in the show ring, which I had vowed I would never do.
Dories are tough little work boats with classic lines. This was our hope for Dory when we got her. She really lived up to her name with her physical elegance and completely fearless field attitude. She was our first flat-coat and the sweetest dog we have ever owned.
We lost Dory to malignant histioytosis just before her 8th birthday. This disease is all too common in Flat-Coats. Surf here to see what the FCRSA is doing about it.
Dory had two litters before we lost her. You can read more about her and her kids here.
